Reaching Ecuador, One Soul At A Time.

WHO WE ARE

Ecuador Missions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Christian Organization committed to amplifying the lives of the Ecuadorians and aiding in the release of their economic and spiritual poverty through its humanitarian works and spiritual leadership.
“Our goal is to give the Ecuadorians a better life, free from hunger”.
Our goal is to give the Ecuadorians a better life, free from hunger. Most of us have never truly been hungry. We’ve never had to walk an hour to a crop, chop down our evening meal of platano, and then walk back home and prepare it over an open fire. Or we’ve never had to fish for minnows to feed a hungry family. Many of us drive through a fast food restaurant or heat up microwave dinners for our meals.

But imagine there is no restaurant. There is no microwave. There is no electricity. There are no food stamps. There’s no welfare. And imagine if the crop didn’t yield any harvest this day. Now, imagine children repeatedly saying, “Tengo hambre” (I’m hungry), while holding their empty stomachs.

We aim to end their sleepless nights, to cease their pangs of hunger, and to give them a full and happy life.

WHAT WE DO

We work primarily with the Kichwa and Shuar Indians of the Amazon region of Ecuador, befriending them and endeavoring to give them better lives through projects such as these:

  • Founding and constructing churches in rural jungle communities
  • Monthly food and clothing distributions to Indian families
  • Providing basic healthcare items such as first aid kits, dental products and eyeware
  • And distributing educational materials to children, assisting in their learning needs

THE FOUNDERS

Susan & Charles Templet, FoundersSiblings Susan and Charles Templet founded Ecuador Missions in January 2006. They gained strong leadership skills through their music ministry and evangelism that has continued for over 21 years. “They have impacted the Amazon with their passion to transform lives…”With the call of God to “Go ye into all the world” (Mark 16:15), Susan and Charles knew Ecuador was the country and the jungle was the place. They have impacted the Amazon with their passion to transform lives and to give a hope and a future to the people of Ecuador.
