Jesus clearly teaches us in His Word to GO into all the world, and preach the Gospel. He did not say, ‘Build a church and WAIT for them to come’. He said, ‘GO’. Get up. Find them. Do something. There are souls lost, dying, without Jesus. Go and reach them. Go tell them Jesus saves, Jesus heals, Jesus delivers, Jesus loves them.
It is an honor to be a soul winner. It is a great privilege to preach the name of Jesus to one who has never heard it before. No, it is not always easy. There are many disappointments, many hurts, many burdens that are so heavy to carry. But it is worth every step of the journey to reach a soul for the Lord. Worth every tear shed, worth every sleepless night calling out to Jesus for them, worth every meal missed fasting for them, worth every moment they were begged to come to church and surrender to the Lord. It is so worth it!! And in that moment, when they cry out to the Lord, when they turn it all over to Him, when they speak in heavenly tongues and begin a new life walking with Him, it’s as if all is forgotten. Just like a mother, who travailed in birth for hours, even days, forgets all her labor pains when she holds that beautiful newborn baby in her arms for the first time. That’s soul winning.
GO! They are everywhere. They are your coworkers, your family, your closest friends, even those that sit beside you in church on Sunday. Go, reach them, find them, share this glorious Gospel with them. How can they believe in the Lord and obtain salvation if they have never heard of Jesus?? Do your part. Do something for Jesus! Be a soul winner right where you are! It is our responsibility, it is our duty…..that all may hear!
