Tarantula on a Tambourine!

Yesterday we had children’s service at Yantana church, our beautiful Shuar Indians. We prayed and gave thanks to the Lord and I immediately picked up the tambourine to play it and sing a song. Just grabbed it real quick, and started wailing on that tambourine! I was singing my heart out and I noticed the children kinda’ just looking at me. So I didn’t even finish my song, went ahead and stopped it, and the children started nearly yelling, with eyes open real wide and pointing, “Sister Susan!!!!! There was a tarantula on that tambourine and when you picked it up and started playing it, he finally fell off, and went running fast across the floor!” LOL So yeah, that whole song, I had just sung…they didn’t get anything about what it said….all they got was, “Tarantula on the tambourine!!! Tarantula on the tambourine”!! lol Oh, it’s such a joy to serve Jesus here in the Amazon!
