It’s always a joy to be able to provide school supplies for many of the children here in Ecuador each year.
But the greatest privilege of all is to get to anoint them and their parents and pray over them before the school year begins. The Puyo children start classes this week, so Sunday at the Puyo Church, we did just that, anointed them with oil, and laid hands on them covering them in prayer, for safety, protection, boldness, and favor of the Lord.. I prayed that they’d also be examples to their peers. Oh, the presence of the Lord swept so sweetly over us as we did this! It was a special moment!
Then I spoke a Scripture over them for their school year to give them courage and know that they’re not alone. and I believe God was already confirming this Word Sunday, that He really does go before them.
“Deuteronomy 31:8 ‘And the Lord, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
I sure do love these precious children and pray God keeps them and does great things in their lives, for His glory!!
