It’s Ann, posting another ‘Susan doesn’t like for me to share this’ story, But it’s all for God’s Glory!
A recent typical day in the life of a faithful Missionary….
She spent the morning cooking food for the sick and delivering it to them. While out doing that, she bought rice and groceries and delivered that to others who were in need. Her afternoon was then spent preaching and having a powerful service at one of her jungle Churches. When she returned home that night, there was a family waiting at her door. They were hot, tired, and sweaty. They had been walking for hours that day, looking for work so they could buy food. She invited them in, offered them work at one of the Churches for the next day. She taught them Bible Study, prayed over them and then proceeded to give them all the food and drink she had left in her home. They noticed that she had nothing left for herself and did not want to take all the food. But she insisted, explaining to them that in all of her years serving the Lord He had never failed her and He sure wasn’t going to now.
The very next day I received a check in the mail with a love offering for Ecuador Missions that included an ‘extra’ $50.00 for ‘personal money for Susan to buy food.’ I could tell so many stories of how God has done this time and again through faithful givers!
I personally don’t know many people that give all they have on a regular basis, including myself. But I do know a very special Missionary that gives all that she has every single day! And if you don’t think God is good, if you don’t think He answers prayers, if you don’t think He is our great Provider, then you haven’t met Susan. She is living proof that God is faithful to the faithful!
