I Have A Bible!

Last night at Puyo church, I was so happy to give to Jeremias a gift that we had bought for him, a Bible. (We give away so many Bibles on a regular basis, but his response was so beautiful!) Jeremias is 20 years old and this is the first Bible he has ever owned! He was so excited!!! He kept looking at it, smiling, and hugging it up to his chest, and saying, “I have a Bible now! My own Bible! I have a Bible!” (Ahora, tengo una Biblia! Mi propia Biblia!! Tengo una Biblia!!)

He and his wife don’t own a television or computer or any kind of modern day technology. They just live in a tiny rented out room. So he said, at night when he gets off work, they can read his Bible together! He was so grateful to now own this precious Book, and so excited and so anxious to read that Bible! If only many more Christians would feel the same way about their Bibles!!!!
