No matter where I am in the world, if there is an ocean nearby, I must go and see it! So thankful I got to do just that in Lima, Peru! The Pacific Ocean was absolutely breathtaking! It reminds me of the Scripture that says His voice is as the sound of many waters. In the vastness of the ocean I see His greatness, and with the rolling of the tide, I hear His might and power! And it brings me such peace. I could sit for hours just watching and listening to it. I’m truly in awe of His wisdom.
I also got to see the fascinating archeological site of Huaca Pucllana. The ingenuity they had in constructing the pyramid for such a place as Lima was so interesting, and it was truly intriguing hearing how the ancient civilization lived. I’m thankful that we serve a living God who doesn’t require us to go to the highest peak to worship, but only that wherever we are, when we exalt Him, we will captivate His attention and His glory will fall and He will touch us! Amen!! I was truly so blessed by my time in the beautiful city of Lima, Peru!
