These flowers are one of my very favorites here in the Amazon. Grandmother Raquel has them growing at her house. When I picked her up for church at Puyupungo, she told me that she wanted to bring something to the House of the Lord. So she picked these from her yard and presented them to me. I told her, “I’m going to put them up front on the platform so everyone can see the beauty of God’s marvelous creation.” And Oh, a big smile came across her face and she just lit up!! She was so happy!
Sometimes, we might think our gesture is so small or our contribution to the Lord and His house is not big enough and might go unnoticed, so we don’t do it. But I promise you that He sees everything and He honors our love for Him and His house and He will always recompense! Grandmother had no idea that EVERYONE was going to see what she had brought to the Lord that day, and it blessed her so greatly knowing she had done something that was so pleasing to Him!
