If you prayed for a missionary today, you don’t know what you prayed for.
When we cross the rivers to get to communities and we baptize in these same rivers that are full of Boa, we are not harmed. Someone is praying.
When a community tells us they will cut our heads off if we try to bring this Jesus to them, yet we now have a church in that same community, someone was praying.
When the devil comes into our home trying to choke us and tells us in an audible voice to ‘get out of Ecuador’, he has to flee when we call the name of Jesus. Was it you that prayed?
When Susan is stricken with disease to the point she is unable to care for herself; the neighbors hear her crying out in pain when Charles tries to help her move; the Dr tells her there is no cure, she will never walk or be active again, yet the very next day she is completely healed. God heard your prayer.
When we find out that the Indians would hide in the jungle and watch us as we walked on the trails in their village, waiting with spears in hand to harm us, yet something told them not to hurt the white people, did you pray for us this day?
When the Chief of a certain community tells us that headhunting is down by more than half since we built a church in this area, these things happen only by prayer.
There are thousands of missionaries all over the world that are depending on our prayers. Because danger, even unto death,knocks daily at their doors. So if you prayed for a Missionary today,thank you. You truly don’t know what you prayed for.
