Weapons of Warfare…..

Weapons of Warfare…..

Our weapons of warfare look a little bit different here in the jungle. Brooms and machetes are absolute necessities in all of our Churches, due to the regular ‘visitors’ we have in the services (namely snakes and tarantulas) that might cause us harm. We truly do have to be on the lookout for such creatures and be vigilant at ALL times!

So, every trip back to the States when I visit Churches there, I’m just instinctively on the lookout for a tarantula scurrying up the wall or a snake slithering on the keyboard during service. Ann, after laughing at my expense, has to often remind me that it’s a whole different world in America and that the wildlife is most commonly on the OUTSIDE of the churches! LOL!

It truly is incredible what a difference 3000 miles makes. But One thing remains the same, and that’s JESUS! He is Lord everywhere!! I’m so honored to serve Him on the mission field in the jungle.
