Adventures and Encounters

“Never pity missionaries; envy them. They are where the real action is
– where life and death, sin and grace, Heaven and Hell converge.” – Robert C. Shannon

God’s Word is Powerful

“He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107:20 It doesn’t matter if I’m standing on a platform behind a hand carved pulpit, or if I’m using a stump to hold my Bible as I teach His Word in the middle of this beautiful Amazon jungle, it’s always the

God’s Covenant

I know I have shared rainbow pictures before. But here are a couple more. I cannot even count the number of rainbows I have seen in the past few weeks! It seems like I can’t even leave my house without seeing another one! They are so beautiful, and absolutely take my breath away! They are

True Worship and Surrender

All of my Church members are first generation servants of the Lord, never having had the privilege to hear His Word until the Missionary arrived. So I’m sure you can understand when I get emotional, when I get excited, when I rejoice seeing them Worshipping the Lord with all of their might! It’s because I

Feeding Body and Soul….

I always love working in the Church gardens, knowing that this food will be a Blessing to the people (Matthew 25:35). As a child of God, especially a Missionary, it’s what we are commissioned to do, feed them body and soul!

Happy Birthday, Ann!!

For those of you that don’t know her, this is my sister, Ann. For those of you who have met her, you already love her! She is my right hand! She makes herself available to me for this Ministry 24/7/365. No matter what I need, she’s there to take care of it. She has stood

Happy Birthday, Ladies!

These two beautiful ladies from our Puyupungo Church (Sis Yolanda and Sis Sonia) recently had birthdays. It was my honor to present them both with delicious cakes to take home so they could celebrate with their families the gift of another year from the Lord! I love and appreciate these ladies so much!

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

His wisdom is compared to that of Solomon’s, his strength to that of Caleb’s, his meekness to that of Moses’, and his love for God’s Word to that of David’s. He is the High Priest of our family, the leader, the protector and the example for us all. He is my amazing Dad, a man

My Beautiful Mission Field

What a Blessed life I live! After a powerful service at Puyupungo Church yesterday afternoon, the Lord put another rainbow (a double one this time!) in the sky just for us and then gave us a perfectly clear view of Volcano Sangay puffing out smoke on our drive home! I love this Mission Field!
This is how we do it in Ecuador. We have Church on the way to Church! This was as we were headed to our 10am service in Macuma Friday morning.
