Sis Sonia and her daughter Olivia were harvesting yuca (cassava) in the garden at Puyupungo church recently. Yuca is a starchy root vegetable, similar to a potato. It is a staple item here that the people love. They simply boil it in water for a hearty meal! On this particular day, the Lord gave us

I always love working in the Church gardens, knowing that this food will be a Blessing to the people (Matthew 25:35). As a child of God, especially a Missionary, it’s what we are commissioned to do, feed them body and soul!

What a thoughtful gift we received in the mail today!! Roberta Wilburn sent us seeds!!!!! She purchased them through a specialty company, who offers many varieties, and she has sent us some seeds to try here in the Rainforest, in hopes of having other forms of nourishment for our people. I’m so excited about this
