What an honor it’s been to have my brother preach in the beautiful churches that we started together here many years ago. When we first arrived in 2006, Charles was still somewhat shy and had not yet begun preaching. He is an incredibly talented drummer and singer, and those were the gifts he rendered to the Lord. But as God began anointing him and the call was being placed upon his life, it was so evident that God wanted to use him to minister, also. And as Charles began to flourish into this powerful, anointed vessel for the Lord, I stood amazed at what God had done.
So the first message he ever preached was not in his own language, but it was here in Ecuador, in the Spanish language. And even today, I still love to hear him preach in Spanish. And as I listen, I know I’m just glowing and feel so very proud of my brother, and the amazing man of God he is. What a blessing it is to have him here with me these few weeks in Ecuador!
